As the seasons are changing and the days are getting colder, I’m starting to realise that my wardrobe is sadly lacking in autumn/winter clothes. When the lovely people at Zaful.com contacted me about reviewing some of their products it seemed like the perfect opportunity to restock my autumn/winter wardrobe. Here are just some of the beautiful products that caught my eye.
Sticking with my usual vintage style, I absolutely love everything about this dress. The colour, the cut, the neckline. It’s super cute and would make the perfect outfit for an autumn/winter day out.
For something a little different, I really liked the look of this 3/4 sleeve floral dress. Although the chiffon-style fabric could be a little cool, I think it would be fine with some winter tights and woolly cardigan. Plus, that pattern is perfect for the Autumn/Winter season.
For something completely different, I think this Long Gradient colour dress with side slit is incredible and would be really eye-catching. The fabric appears to be quite heavy and warm, which is ideal for cold, winter nights out. This could be the perfect party dress for those events that also pop up in the winter months.
Back to something more my usual style is this incredibly pretty Floral A-Line dress. The pattern is vibrant and the I love the contrast between the black and the red. I probably own far too many dresses in this style but can you ever have too many dresses, really?
Green is probably one of my favourite Autumn colours and I really should wear it more often. Plus the colour works really well with my red hair. I think this dress would be really versatile as well. I could either wear it with boots and a cardigan for a casual winter look or whack on some heels and accessories for a more glamorous style.
You may not know this, but there is a little bit of goth hidden away under all this girliness. I love how this dress looks like it could be an antique from some period in the past. Black is, obviously a very flattering colour, and the lace is tantalising without being obviously revealing.
I sometimes forget that a woman cannot live on dresses alone. (Ok, maybe she can but it is nice to have a little variety now and then.) I regularly hunt through my clothes drawers and wonder why I don’t have many nice tops to wear. There were lots of lovely tops on the Zaful.com website which would make lovely additions to my Autumn/Winter wardrobe. Here are a few of my favourites:

Seriously, how beautiful are these skirts? I love the variety of patterns and colours and the length is just right for me. I think the two middle ones are particular favourites. I can imagine wearing them with a soft cashmere sweater and my knee-high boots. Sadly, NONE of these skirts are available in my size, which is a real shame. Maybe once I run my half-marathon and lose a few inches I can treat myself?
Winter wardrobes aren’t just about the clothes though. It’s the accessories that really make an outfit. I loved this stylish but cosy ways to keep warm this winter. Those gloves in particularly are gorgeous.
With the changing weather it’s time to put away the scrappy sandals abound bring out the boots. This first pair are fabulous, sturdy boots which would be practical in icy weather, while still being stylish at the same time. The second pair would be nice for a night out if you still wanted to keep your tootsies warm.
Now, I personally always feel I look ridiculous in hats, but Mr Mess is always trying to encourage me to wear them. I do quite like a beanie hat and this one with the bow is cute and cosy. I wish I was brave enough to wear this Cloche hat but I know I’d just feel silly. I think the girl looks so glamorous in the picture, but then there probably is a reason she’s a model and I’m not.

The zaful.com website is overflowing with beautiful clothes, a lot of which would be perfect for the Autumn/Winter season. Unfortunately there were quite a lot of styles that I’ve mentioned above that either weren’t available in my size, or were sold out. I did, however, manage to find a couple of items which I liked and thought would look great which I have now ordered. Watch out for that outfit post coming up over the next couple of days.
