A Mess In A Dress

A Dressfo.com Wish List

August 22, 2016

I was recently contacted by an online clothes company called Dressfo about the possibility of us working together.  I’m not going to lie, I’d never heard of Dressfo before so the very first thing I did was to hop on over to their website and have a look at what it’s all about.

Now everyone knows I’m a bit of a sucker when it comes to dresses.  I have so many that I have a wardrobe dedicated to my dress collection (and they don’t even all fit in there).  At a first glance I was really happy with the variety of dresses on offer on Dressfo website.  I particularly liked the look of their Vintage dress section, so I thought I’d share a few of my faves with you now.

Dressfo vintage floral swing dress

  Vintage Tie Back Floral Dress

This is probably one of my absolute favourite dress shapes EVER as it is so very flattering for the curvier lady.  I also think this patter is really beautiful and I could easily see me wearing this on one of my afternoon tea trips!

Dressfo vintage floral embroidery swing dress

Another vintage swing-style dress (you’ll be seeing a lot of these!) but this time with a slightly different neckline.  I don’t think I own anything with this type of neckline so it might be nice to try something a bit different for a change.  I love the bold colour and use of embroidery.  I used to love wearing pink but I’ve been stuck in a rut of black for a while now.  Maybe it’s time to inject a little colour back into my wardrobe?

This seems like the perfect summer dress, even if the pattern is a little bolder than I would usually dare to wear.  Also, that neckline is usually quite flattering on ladies with more generous busts.

Dressfo print cami dress

High Waist Print Beach Cami Dress

Just to prove that I don’t only wear one sort of dress, I thought I’d throw this little number it.  I’m going on holiday soon and this looks like ideal beach wear.  Light and floaty while hopefully still being flattering.  Sadly, they only sell this in one size, which is most definitely NOT my size, so I guess this just wasn’t meant to be!

Dressfo plunge neck floral wrap dress

Stylish Plunging Neck 3/4 Sleeve Floral Print Women’s Dress

Another dress that is certainly not in my usual style.  I love the pattern and this colour combination is probably one I feel most comfortable in.  I’m all for a plunging neckline, although I probably would have to wear a cami top underneath, just to protect my modesty.

Dressfo vintage floral knee length dress

Vintage Round Neck Sleeveless Floral Print Knee-Length Dress

Yes, OK, I’m back to my normal style but this pattern is just too pretty not to include.  Whether you want to admit it or not, Summer is nearly over and these colours would be perfect in the Autumn.  Give me a cosy cardigan and my knee boots and I think I’ve found my perfect Autumn outfit.  A girl has to plan ahead, you know!

Dressfo vintage sweetheart neckline swing dress

Vintage Sweetheart Neck Floral Print Dress

Look at this dress!  Just look at it!  I am seriously in love right now.  It’s pink, it’s girly, it makes a statement.  You are going to get noticed wearing this dress.  It’s my favourite style of dress with a beautiful sweetheart neckline and that pattern is just stunning.  I feel like I’ve been waiting my whole life for this dress.

I could go on and on, but I’m pretty sure I’d just bore you.  There really are tons of dresses to choose from, including lots of different styles that I really liked but just wouldn’t suit me because I’m not a supermodel.  The best part is that all of these dresses were under £30 which means I’ve found a new place to find dresses I can ACTUALLY afford.

Apparently standard shipping is free worldwide and takes between 7-15 days which seems pretty reasonable to me when ordering from out of the country.

I am a little unsure on the sizing at the moment, so I would definitely contact them before placing an order to try and get the best fit.  If I do try any of the dresses I’ll be sure to update you with sizing and quality etc.

Have you ever tried a dress from Dressfo.com?  Do you have any other companies you can recommend?  Leave me a comment below with your suggestions?

I love love love that wrap dress and I can’t believe that they are all under £30.00. Definitely a brand that I’m going to have to check out.
