Hi, and welcome to my latest instalment of “Blogs I’ve been shamelessly stalking this week.” Today’s victim…I mean, candidate, is not actually a new crush, but someone I’ve been following for quite a while. I’ve even mentioned her in a previous post.
I am, of course, talking about Lauren from Lauren’s Looks. Not only do I follow her blog, but I also keep track of most (if not all) of her social media channels. She posts a variety of gorgeous posts on makeup, hair and fashion, as well as sharing some truly delicious recipes for cakes and cupcakes. I’ve even tried a few of them and they are fantastic!
Lauren’s Instagram is particularly stunning and her photography is always vibrant and fabulous! Her Instagram feed is just an endless string of beauty and I would be jealous if she just didn’t seem so nice.
By far the most appealing thing about Lauren, her social media and her blog are just how darn genuine and likeable she seems. She comes across as being friendly and warm, a complete girl-next-door and I’m sure I’m not the only person who wants to kidnap her and make her be my new BFF. (No, wait, that’s probably just me, and now I’m showing my weird, over-attachment issues. Whoops!)
But seriously, Lauren is possibly one of the nicest bloggers you’ll ever come across. She’s humble, always replies to comments and seems really down-to-earth.
She’s not all style and no substance though. Lauren has written some beautifully genuine posts about her struggles with ME. She’s a great role model for anyone living with a chronic illness.
If you haven’t come across Lauren’s blog yet, then I would suggest you head over to www.itslittlelauren.co.uk and check it out. Here are some of my fave posts that I’d recommend you take a look at:
What I Instagrammed Vs. What was really happening | Take two
Festive hot chocolate cupcakes complete with mini candy canes
An in-depth guide on how I edit my Instagram photos
Self-confidence, and why empowering other girls is so important
M.E Awareness Day | What does it feel like to have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis
I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Lauren’s blog and it’s one of the few blogs I read where I actually stop to read every single post, instead of just cherry picking the ones I’m in the mood for.
Well, that’s enough shameless crushing for now – I’ll be back in a couple of weeks with a new recommendation. Let me know in the comments below if you follow Lauren’s Looks, or if this post introduced you to her. And let me know if you have any recommendations of people I should feature in upcoming posts.
