May Review/June Goals

Pinch punch, it’s the first of the month.  Well, almost, but it’s a damn sight closer than when I normally write this kind of post.   Without further ado, let’s get stuck into the monthly review.

May Review

Life – All in all, I think May was a pretty peachy month. It was pretty busy, with two theatre trips, a formal dinner and a spa retreat, but it was also full of fun and memory-making.  That’s the best kind of month.  I finished on a high with an amazing trip to Hoar Cross hall, which I’ll be writing all about soon.  So altogether, I’m hoping May was the turning point for 2016 looking up!

House – Let’s just agree not to mention the house, ok?  It’s not any worse, but it’s not any better either!

Blog – After a slow start to the month, I kinda got on a blogging roll towards the end and I actually managed 11 posts! That has to be a record.  And thanks to one VERY successful blog post about Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and thanks to some of the cast sharing said blog post, my stats for May were stellar!  Like seriously, successful bloggers wouldn’t even notice them, but for me they were awesome and have left me full of ideas and enthusiasm for the next month of blogging.  Roll on June!

My top 3 posts in May were:

A review of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

The Flying Childers Restaurant, Chatsworth – A Review

A review of Breakfast at Tiffany’s

June Goals

Life – Brace yourself, because its going to be a really bumpy month.  The calendar is choc-a-block, but most importantly it’s Moogle’s birthday month and that means present wrapping, party planning and of course, cake making. I’m fully expecting my feet to not touch the ground for the next 30 days

House – Forget it – far too much on!

Blog – Even though I’ve got a very full diary, I really do want to keep up the blogging momentum. I’ve got a schedule of posts planned and, if possible, I’m going to try and keep up with it.  I’ve also started to make some new blogging friends and I’d really like to work on growing those relationships.  It’s nice to talk to people who understand the blogging world. I’m probably setting myself goals that I’ll never be able to reach, but I also really want to try and follow Dorkface’s 30 day social media challenge and I’ve also found an Instagram photo challenge I’d like to take a shot at.  It’s gonna keep me busy, but at least I won’t be bored!

All in all, I am soooooo excited about June! Although I’m already a bit behind so I need to stop chatting to you lot and get on with it!
